How to Chose the Best Web Hosting Service?

There are many questions and concerns that come into play when you are trying to chose the best web hosting service. Many offer cheap and affordable and others are high priced and low quality. I would like to offer some tips, pointers, and direction in helping you chose the best web hosting service.
1. What should I look for in a web host? There are options that set one apart from another in terms of value to you, the client. While your needs of each individual or company will vary slightly, there are quite a few common concerns found across the board. You need affordable! However, you do not want to sacrifice performance, uptime or customer support for affordability. You need to ensure that the host you choose supports the operating system you use. I.E. Windows, Mac OS and Linux. You also need to ensure that the host offers the features that you want.
2. How can I trust the one I chose? Your web host provider is your business partner. I personally do not go into business with anyone I don't fully trust! Trust is quickly leaving most companies right along with integrity and honesty! This part is most tricky because a lot of companies promise more than they provide or they just blatantly lie right to you. They play on your ignorance. Make sure you do your research in finding the right web host. It might take some time or maybe you are one of the blessed ones out there who personally knows someone you can trust. Trust is based on being truthful and honest up front. No hidden cost and fees.
3. How long for my site to be built? Most web hosting companies let you know how long for all of their services. It is important to know this up front before you commit to any long-term contract or agreement. That brings another question into play, 'Do I have to sign a long-term contract? Just be very careful in just signing on the dotted line. I'm not saying not to do it, but be very careful!
In closing, you need to be studious in your online adventures. Be thorough and diligent in what you are researching before you commit or buy. There are a lot of scams and a lot of posers out there just wanting to get you to commit to them and then treat you like dirt after they have you money. Be cautious and discerning when choosing a web hosting company!
